Hot Springs Village known as “The Village” by locals is the largest gated community in North America by land size, not population.

The Village consists of 26,000 acres of forest in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Currently there are approximately 10,000 homes. The West End of the Village began in 1970. Home construction moved toward the East Gate, with the newest homes mostly located on the East End of the Village.

9 Golf Courses; seven 18-hole golf courses, one 27-hole golf complex and one prestigious, award-winning private club, Diamante Country Club. With 171 holes, there is great golf for all skill levels. Anyone is welcome to play, contact me for guest discount play.

With 11 recreational lakes, Hot Springs Village is a community of lakes surrounded by land. Amenities include swimming beaches, covered pavilions and two full-service marinas. The lakes offer a variety of fun activities like fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, boating and skiing. There are clubs in the Village that you can join for group activities.

There are over 200 clubs and special interest groups, including church groups.

There are over 30 miles of natural, secluded trails within the gates of Hot Springs Village that offer the perfect setting for taking a quick run, a leisurely walk with the dog, a long bike ride, or simply exploring the natural beauty here. From neighborhood paths, to hiking trails, to multipurpose trails that provide a route for walkers, bikers, and golf cart riders. There are many small parking lots located throughout the Village so you can park your car and begin your walk at any point along the trails.

Hot Springs Village has miles and miles of bicycle friendly paved roads. Ageless Bikers Club holds regularly scheduled rides and cycling events. There’s many mountain biking trails in our region for heart-pumping action, beautiful scenery and a workout you’ll remember. The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) recognizes trails and trail systems around the world with model mountain biking trails, and they have designated Hot Springs as a Regional Ride Center. Hot Springs has three IMBA Epic Rides: the 33-mile Womble Trail, the 45-mile Lake Ouachita Vista Trail, and the 108-Mile Ouachita National Recreational Trail.

The Coronado Tennis Center is a 13-court complex with a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional, lounge and pavilion. Ten of the center’s courts are clay. The facility offers league play at all levels including junior, mixed leagues, women’s and men’s doubles. Junior Tennis and USTA Adult Leagues are encouraged here. Village tennis players may choose from a variety of programs ranging from league play to fun social events. The facility also has an involved tennis association with lots of social opportunities. The clubhouse features a lounge, kitchen and pro shop. There is also a large pavilion with ice machine, picnic tables, and restrooms with showers. A ball machine and practice hoppers are also available.

The Hot Springs Village pickleball facility consists of 14 newly renovated outdoor pickleball courts with lights for night use. A staffed clubhouse provides rental equipment, snacks and drinks and reservations. Players can participate in open play, leagues, and tournaments.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Players use paddles to hit a perforated ball over a net. Pickleball can be played with two or four players.

Lawn sports clubs include Bocce Ball, Lawn Bowling and Croquet. Join one of the groups and meet new friends to enjoy these lawn sports.

DeSoto Recreation Area has two half-court basketball courts, playground and small covered picnic area, and an 18-hole miniature golf course.

Grove Park is an open park area next to the Ponce de Leon Center. It features a community stage for performances, a small pocket park with swings and a slide, as well as picnic tables and a grill. Grove Park is home to the seasonal Green Market, the Village Fall Fest and month-long Grove Park lighting in December.

The DeSoto Dog Park is a gated, off-leash park for well-behaved and healthy dogs. The site is approximately 1.5 acres of level open area, divided into two sections for use by large and small dogs. The park contains benches, watering stations, waste receptacles and shade pavilions.

Diamante Country Club is a private members-only country club located inside quiet and friendly Hot Springs Village. Home to an award-winning 18-hole golf course currently ranked No. 5 in Arkansas, club amenities also include world-class tennis, swimming and a wide array of dining and social events in the well-appointed clubhouse.

The Hot Springs Village RV Park is a private park for members and sponsored guests. In a serene rural setting between Lake Pineda and Lake Coronado, the park features 21 sites: 12 pull-through and 9 back-in. The HSV RV Park has full-service hook-ups featuring water, sewer and 30/50-amp service at each site, as well as grills, fire rings and picnic tables. Concrete picnic slabs are available on Sites 13-21. There are no bathrooms or showers onsite so all RVs must be self-contained. Registered RV Park users may use the showers at the Coronado Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is located only one mile away from the RV Park and can be accessed by a nature trail.

The Woodlands Auditorium, which is a 650-seat theatre with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, offers Broadway-style musicals, drama, dance, vocal, and choral performances.

Grove Park hosts outdoor free concerts in the summer. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of music.

Casa de Carta is Hot Springs Village’s House of Cards with games played 7 days a week, including Bridge, Pinochle, Cribbage, and more, hosted by the Village Card Club.

Coronado Community Center and Library houses an extensive audiobook and DVD library in addition to fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, along with a sizeable paperback and puzzle lending selection. Take them home, enjoy them, and bring them back on the honor system. WiFi and computer terminals are available.

Animal Welfare League, located inside the Village, is a non-profit organization and no-kill animal shelter serving the homeowners in Hot Springs Village. It’s a volunteer organization. If an owner can no longer care for a pet or if the owner passes away, the Animal Welfare League takes the animal and cares for it until it’s adopted. If you have to go to the hospital, the Animal Welfare League will take your pet and care for it until you can come home.

There are over 22 churches, each having their own Bible studies and social groups.

Hot Springs Village is home to physical therapists, specialist doctors, optometrists, chiropractors, dentists, home health, hospice, senior apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, an ambulance service, and a medical clinic.

Hot Springs Village Property Owners’ Association contracts with LifeNet Inc., to maintain four strategically located state-of-the-art Advanced Life Support ambulances within the Village. For a small bi-monthly charge on your water, sewer and trash bill of $16.00, the ambulance is free for all residents. Helicopter ambulance service is available on an emergency basis in Hot Springs Village at no extra cost to the patient.

If you need a community where you can age in place, Hot Springs Village is perfect for you. Located inside the Village are home health care companies that come in and assist you while you stay in your home. If needed, there are assisted living facilities all the way up to skilled nursing and memory care located inside the Village. We have a funeral home and cemetery inside the Village as well.

Just outside the West Gate of the Village, shopping and amenities include a hardware store, grocery store, Wal-Mart, gas stations, car wash, restaurants and fast food, paint store, re-sell shop, specialty cheese store, beauty salons. The City of Hot Springs is a 20+ minute beautiful scenic drive through the mountain where all the larger retailers are located.

Hot Springs, Arkansas, or “Spa City” as it is affectionately known, is the closest city, just 20 miles from Hot Springs Village. Here you will find a city steeped in history and beauty. Downtown Hot Springs is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is known for its art deco architecture, natural hot springs, horse racing and thriving arts community. Popular attractions include The Bathhouse Row you see today consists of eight bathhouse buildings that were constructed between the years of 1892 and 1923 offering mineral rich thermal bath treatments from the hot springs coming directly from the mountain. This area along with the Grand Promenade was designated as a National Historic Landmark District in 1987. Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, home to one of the top thoroughbred horse racetracks in the nation; Garvan Woodland Gardens, the largest botanical garden in Arkansas; and family favorites like Magic Springs Theme and Water Park and the Mid-America Science Museum. Hot Springs Village has its own police department with 19 certified officers. Our police officers are Arkansas State Certified and enforce traffic laws throughout Hot Springs Village. Our officers respond to 911 emergency calls as well as non-emergency calls with an average response time to arrive on location of approximately six minutes
